100% Design & Clerkenwell Design Week
Strategy, Content, Connections: 2012-2017
Clerkenwell Design Week and 100% Design are the largest contemporary London-based design trade events in the UK. William was Event Director for both during five years working at Media 10 Ltd.
Both events flourished in different ways during William’s leadership; CDW went through substantial change and growth, due to shifts in venues and increasing demand from exhibitors and sponsors, while 100% Design (now renamed Design London) was revitalised as it too moved venue, from Earl’s Court to Olympia.
As Director for Design Trade Events at Media 10, William was responsible for the overall performance of the exhibitions, their creative direction, production management, sales and promotion. He was supported by and managed a team of over fifteen people.
