Norwegian Presence
Content, Connections: 2021
Norwegian Presence is a long-running initiative aimed at promoting design talent at design events in key design cities; New York, London and Milan. As the co-Founder of Design Dialogue, William was approached to host a live discussion within the three-part programme in early 2021.
Delivered online, the Norwegian Presence programme brought together a range of contributors to explore themes within contemporary design practice; the presentations and discussions were pre-recorded and broadcast at a set time, with William providing a live wrap-up discussion to conclude each of the three events.
Norwegian Presence 2021 represented a brand new way in which to promote a nation’s design philosophy and talent. Developed in response to the pandemic, the programme suggested a way in which design promotion could develop effectively, by working together - as covered in a Renew journal post published at the time.
